I took the girls to an Easter Party on Saturday. They watched an Easter Puppet Show, made a cross, and hunted for eggs. Mary Ellen was proud of her cross that she made. She also mangaged to find 13 eggs all by herself. Not bad for a 23 month old. Lexie found 39 and Leah found 18.
On Easter morning, our young kids acted out the Easter story during the Worship service. This pic is "Joseph of Arimeatha" taking down "Jesus" from the cross. Lexie was Mary Magdalene and did an excellent job with the drama.
Here Lexie "Mary Magdalene" takes the spices to the tomb, only to find the stone rolled away! Leah was the angel that rolled the stone away and sat on the stone.
After Mary Magdalene left the tomb she met Jesus and bowed at His feet and worshipped Him! Aren't you thankful that the stone was rolled away! "This is the family God has so graciously given to me."
